They are well-written and entertaining
Like a foreman on a construction site, they build roads, build housing for workers (camp), set up the excavation machinery, and drill the well itself, especially in remote locations. They are also, in part, Fixers, Troubleshooters, and Facilitators. Referenced in CBS News Sunday Morning: Episode #44.24 (2022). Apparently, I love Taylor Sheridan shows.
It’s extremely gratuitous
I would happily watch anything with her brand attached at this point. But what’s with the girl in the panties and the creepy sexualization of her? It’s extremely weird how unlikable she is with it. It’s almost too unlikable to not want to watch.
She’s a real head-scratcher
I’m invested in the story so far. I also don’t understand why the women are so unlikable. The ex-wife is just awful. Is the show just geared toward drawing men?
